H&T Presspart is a development and manufacturing company specialising in respiratory drug delivery devices and components. Its products include metered-dose inhaler (MDI) counters, actuators and canisters; the PowdAir Plus dry-powder inhaler; the connected eMDI. Its manufacturing services including deep-drawing of MDI canisters, injection moulding, a surface treatment for MDI canisters, and device assembly. H&T Presspart components are used in 85% of the world’s MDIs.
The company’s Inhalation Product Technology Centre (IPTC) supports new product developments and strategic initiatives with its customers.
Founded in 1970 and acquired by the private German holding company, Heitkamp and Thumann Group (H&T), in 2002, H&T Presspart has >450 employees at three European manufacturing sites in Germany, Spain and the UK, and sales offices in China, India, South America and the US.
